Outcome
We created a holistic experience concept bringing together transmedia storytelling, interactive technology, and real places. We also built a promising conceptual framework (Memorama) for explorative AR experiences and an iOS prototype to showcase its application.
Discovery & Design
Applied Design Thinking methods throughout: semantic analysis, 10-plus-10s, ad hoc workshops. Used a physical research wall to align on findings. Created feasibility maps, personas, and stakeholder maps.
Experience Design
Every design decision was intentional. We chose a starting place with nearby cafes, used vibration for haptic feedback, kept sound design blending into the environment, and reminded users to take breaks at local stores.
Memorama Framework
A conceptual framework for location-based experiences that combine fiction, historical knowledge, and contemporary technology. Three abstract spaces: Navigation Spaces, Discovery Spaces, and the Home Space.
Prototype
Built with Unity3D and Vuforia. Partnered with a fellow UX Developer to create scenes and test image trigger recognition, story triggers, and object positioning.
